Todays show features special in studio guests, 12 - 1 Ginger Taylor and 1 - 2 Terry Davis, two of the higher profile DJ's working the soul circuit.  The show kicks off as usual with Soul Sauce, a look at new and pre release Soul.  First up,  Richie Havens - "Going Back To My Roots",  Maisha - "All Of My Life",  Camel Hines - "Closer To The Sauce" now out for Expansion Records.  Sticking with quality new releases and next up is Jenai - "Heaven & Earth",   Richard Invites you to send him your top tracks from the past decades of Soul, as we move towards the milenium,  Richard Searling's Soul Sauce, PO Box 3, Manchester M5 3 EJ, on with the music and out early next year Dunn Pearson  - "I Don't Know",  Rashan Patterson "Get here" from the Universal CD Love in Stereo.  Sean Escoffery - "Space Rider", unissued and currently looking for a deal,  Pratt & McClain - "What's Your Sign", Ashley Beadle Grass Roots - "Windy City Theme", DeVox feat Jenita - "Loving Every Minute", Craig T Cooper featuring the vocals of Denice Stewart and "Night You Said" from the Caught Up In A Moment album which is now on Expansion Records,  Chante Moore & Larry Springfield - "Can We Do That",  DeVox - "There Goes My Heart", next another Maisha track, and Rashann Petterson - "You Feel The Way I Do", and next up from the soundtrack of a new Spike Lee film, Allure - "When The Shades Go Down", Jerry DeVo's huge dancer "Front Of The Line", Leroy Hutson - "Get To This Get To Me" from the Cd Mighty Mighty Soul Curtom Chartbusters 2 on Castle Records, next follows a tribute to Carl Hall who died two weeks ago and the 1973 anthem "What About Me",  Sweet Inspirations - "It Takes Love" and Copeland Davis - "Spring Morning",  Leon DeBuse - "Every Fella's Girl", George Benson - "My Woman's Good To Me", Temptations - "What Am I Gonna Do Without You".

Down into The Cellar Full Of Soul, AC Reed & Band- "My Baby Has Been Cheating", Ginger's choices for records in his guest spot feature a few inexpensive records which he thinks are worthy of playing and everyone can go out looking for them, Dotty & Milly - "Talking About My Baby" a Detroit record for Tommy Records, next up is probably the rarest record ever played at Jazz FM, Shrine Records  Jay D Bryant - "I Won't Be Coming Back", Carolyn Crawford, unreleased Motown track - "Until You Came Along", next up a record which is currently doing the rounds in the charts by Simply Red, but the soul original Homer Banks - "Ain't That A Lot Of Love", Charles Sheffield - "It's Your Voodo Working" which is one of the very few R & B records included in Ginger's sets. Next up a Soul record, not northern soul but a great record, Melvin Brown and "Love Stormy Weather", Jimmy Andrews - "Big City Playboy", only 3 copies known to exist,  Next up Donald Height and "Talk Of The Grapevine" which came out in the UK on London records, Rudy Loveaway - "What's Wrong Baby" on Galico records but it's also on Awake records. Request next Frank Wilson - "Do I Love You", Tammi Terrell - " That's How It Is" which is another unissued Motown track,  Danny Williams (Yes, The same one as Moon River) - "Stranger",  Bob & Fred - "I'll Be On My Way" Now selling for £1000.

Terry Davis now joins Richard for his first time on the show and kicks off with Arrin Demain - "Silent Treatment", Tony Hestor - "Just Can't Leave You" on Karate Records,  Spinners - "Where Is That Girl" taken from a Motown Album,  Almeta Latimore - "Sweet Memories",  Tangeers - "Let My Heart & Soul Be Free",  Guitar Ray - "You're Gonna Wreck My Life",  Next up is a pice of vinyl that was said to be used at the original Motown meetings when they used to decide on new releases, Terry obtained the disc together with all the engineers reports etc and this track is described by Richard Searling as one of the greatest songs ever Four Tops - "Just A Little Love",  Marvin Gaye - "I'll be Dogone", staying with Motown and another unissued track  Jimmy Ruffin - "You've Been Leading Me On", The Moments - "You Said" from the Deep label,  Willie Fisher - "Put Your Loving On Me",  back to Motown and an album track from Marvin Gaye & Kim Weston - "When We're Together",  Baby Washington - " I Can't Wait Until I See My Baby's Face",  and finally the last record is OC Smith - "Easy Street".
